REVISITING BERRY ISLAND

We're ba....ck!

This is a re run of a previous walk we did in July last year, the forecast is for fine weather so we should have a fun time.

Looking forward to seeing y'all on Sunday, and catching up on the news.

B.

Remember 'choose your own adventure' books? Sundays walk has elements of that, plenty of scope to extend, and also to 'cheat' a little.

Lots of variety in this walk with streetscapes, plenty of bush track, a few Machu Picchu moments on a set of steps and magnificent harbour views. To top it off we even pass a series of Aboriginal rock carvings, where we were entertainment for an audience of kookas , who thought us highly amusing.

Steve and I clocked just over 8kms on Tuesday which included some detours and dead ends, and we didn't complete the intended route. There is plenty of scope to shorten or lengthen the distance, and a choice to attack the steep steps - even Steve was puffing atop them !!!!!

We will start in Shirley Road, near Wollstonecraft Station, where we very happily found a cafe which opens on Sunday :-)

Highly recommend this walk, it was very picturesque, see you Sunday.

Keep a lookout for this one...........
This last picture is where a tree has blocked the track - turn RIGHT to follow the easier path and LEFT (further left bro) to go via Machu Picchu.......

See you soon you big baboons......
