BERRY ISLAND

BERRY ISLAND

The weather on Sunday promises to be good so we are going on an island walk.....Berry Island.

We will start in Shirley Road, near Wollstonecraft Station, where we very happily found a cafe which opens on Sunday :-) The walk is about 8kms with some steps for our heart health.

Highly recommend this walk, it was very picturesque, see you Sunday.

 A wattle baby.........

Keep a lookout for this one...........
This last picture is where a tree has blocked the track - turn RIGHT to follow the easier path and LEFT (further left bro) to go via Machu Picchu.......

JUNE LONG WEEKEND

Pocket City Farm.

There may not be many starters, and it might rain, but we intrepids are heading to Camperdown to start and finish at the Pocket City Farm in Mallett Street Camperdown. This converted bowling club is a roaring success with a productive farm, cafe and play area. I have been wanting to walk around here for ages so fingers crossed the weather allows us a few dry hours.

If you haven't already let me know you are coming, please do; especially as the weather is so uncertain.

Meet outside the Farm in Mallett Street, park on the street, no meters.
