SYDNEY UNIVERSITY After a long absence we thought it would be apt to do an educational tour..............of Sydney University, on foot. Meet on campus at the corner of Physics and Fisher Roads (meter parking $2 per hour) at 8am. The walk is about 5km so not too taxing, there is no cafe on the campus but Broadway Shopping Centre is close by. Broadway Shopping Centre has 2 hours free parking if you purchase something......might be cheaper to pay on campus! Here's the link: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/688723612 We are looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up on lots of news. B.
APRIL 19 2015 Good to be back in town - but no walking this weekend, there are a few people away and others not able to walk so we have decided to cancel and hope to get back into the swing next weekend after Anzac Day. Enjoy the weekend, B.
NORTHBRIDGE As this is the end of year brunch we will meet at our place and walk around Northbridge before we have a bite to celebrate another year of exploration, conversation and perambulation. Well done us! 8am start as usual. So far on the menu we have smoked salmon and a sweet, if you could let me know what you will bring to share that would be great, thanks. looking forward, B.
FIELD OF MARS AND BUFFALO CREEK A familiar area for most of us to drive by, but how many of us have ventured into the Field of Mars Wildlife Refuge and Cemetery? This walk will be about 8kms and take in Boronia Park Oval, part of Buffalo Creek Reserve and a wander through Field of Mars, it looks very interesting. Gotta love this city! Meet in Princes Street, near the intersection with Pittwater Road, a few coffee spots to choose from here. http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/497541428

Robert and Julie are leading the way through Cooper Park and surrounds this week. This is a path we have not yet taken so it should be very interesting, with some great views.
