DEMENTIA AWARENESS WALK!
Dementia Australia hold their Memory Walk this Sunday and several of us want to support the cause. We did not fancy joining loads of others on the Bay Run so decided to link to the Dementia Australia web page so you could donate online. The minimum online donation they accept is $10, donations are tax deductible and an email receipt is sent.

We begin our 8km walk this Sunday from Gap Road at Watsons Bay. Turn right from Military Road into Gap Road, park there and meet on the corner of Military and Gap Roads at 8am.
This will be a beautiful walk and you will discover about radio astronomy in Sydney!
Bring your Opal card with you as after we walk to North Bondi we will catch a bus back to Watsons Bay.

WEST RYDE AND DARVALL PARK
This Sunday we take a turn around West Ryde and Darvall Park, an area very familiar to many of us.
There is a fun run in the CBD for Mothers day so we thought to steer clear of that.
Start at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club, cnr Ryedale Road and Wattle Street West Ryde at 8am. Plenty of parking here.
This is a walk with a few hills so be prepared, Roly Poly Hill being a memorable one. Coffee is good at West Ryde Station when we finish.
Look forward to a brisk 6 or so kms , see you there.B.

We meet on the corner of Petrarch Ave and Hopetoun Ave Vaucluse at 8am.
This 7km walk takes us along the coast (as much as possible) to Watsons Bay and South Head, past some spectacular beaches, glorious views of the Heads and some Sydney history. Bring your OPAL card with you so we can bus it back to the cars from Watsons Bay.
The pics speak louder than words...............
Cheers,
