To mark the passing of three quarters of 2012 this Sunday we will stay west of the Bridge, with a walk around Drummoyne.
Begin at 8am from the Drummoyne Bakehouse Cafe, 150 Lyons Road, near the corner with Gipps Street, close to the fish shop.
We will walk to Birkenhead and around St Georges Cres before crossing under Gladesville Bridge. It is an interesting walk, even though we don't have as much access to the waterfront as one might expect.
This one plots out at 7kms with a few hills thrown in for fun.
Looking forward to Sunday :-)

For this Spring Sunday 22nd we will traverse the suburbs of Cammeray, Willoughby and Northbridge.
Meet at the Shell service station on Miller Street at Cammeray, there will be plenty of free parking either on Miller Street or in the council car park behind the servo.
This walk, though only about 5kms, has some hills, stairs, and a variety of scenery; you might be surprised to be walking on a bush track here and there.....it should be challenging enough.
I am looking forward to catching up with everybody, it has been a few weeks for me.
See you 8am Sunday.

BAY RUN
This weekend will see those who are in Sydney take on the Bay Run, starting from the cafe at Nield Park at 8am. Our contingent will be smaller as so many are out of town but it looks like a lovely weather weekend. Enjoy!

ACROSS THE SEA.............
We have talked about it...........now it's time to 'just do it'!
This Sunday we are off to Cockatoo (Island, that is). The Biennale of Sydney is still on, so after we walk around the island you might want to stay on and experience the Biennale, or hop on a ferry and return............it's up to you.
Meet at either Greenwich Wharf or Valencia Street Woolwich Wharf at 8am - don't be late, ferry departs Greenwich 8.01am and Woolwich 8.04am.
We will walk around the island before the official opening time of 10am, then if you want to enjoy any of the many offerings it is up to you how much time you spend. Cafes appear to be open from 8am, and the free ferries start at 10am so maybe we will have to pay on the way over, but maybe not.
Please let me know if you are coming and which wharf you will be departing from. Looking forward to another Sunday morn adventure.
