DARLING POINT WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT..............
After realising that several people are away or unable to walk this Sunday Feb 24th, we have decided to take a break, put Darling Point on hold for a while, and resume Burb'n bay walking in March. Can someone tell me please where did Jan and Feb go????

DE FACT IS........WE NEED A DE FAULT
BLACKWATTLE BAY
This Sunday we are walking the Blackwattle Bay Loop again, to decide if this will be our default walking track. The requirements for a default track are: about 7kms, no bush or muddy slippery paths, fairly central location, no crowds - this seems to tick all the boxes.
Meet at 8am on the corner of Refinery Drive and Mount Street Walk Pyrmont, bring some coins for parking meters.

BEAUTY SPOT
EVER SEEN A QUAKERS HAT?
This Sunday could be your opportunity................Beauty Point is very aptly named and has a lovely bush track leading to the Quakers Hat.
Magnificent middle harbour vistas and spectacular views through the Heads keep our minds off a few steps and hills on this walk. It is only a shortie but a goodie. To start the walk we have a narrow bush track, then we need our street cred as we cross Military Road to the Balmoral side and proceed to The Spit for coffee.
Meet in Pearl Bay Avenue Mosman, near Moss Lane, at 8am.
If coming from the city on Military Road, take the second left turn after Medusa Street, half way down the Spit Bridge hill , parking should be plentiful.
Only 6kms!!
